Can I use Lumina Oil on a sensitive scalp?
Yes. Lumina Oil is formulated at a precision concentration specifically to avoid the irritation that most scalp oils cause. Rosemary essential oil is included at a controlled low dose. Effective enough to support scalp circulation, controlled enough to never burn or irritate. If you have an extremely sensitive scalp, we recommend patch testing before first use.
How to use it
Start by massaging your scalp with your fingertips for 3–5 minutes. This stimulates circulation and prepares the follicle environment to absorb what comes next.
Then part your hair in sections and apply 6–8 drops of Lumina Oil directly onto your scalp. Massage for another 3-5 minutes to ensure the formula reaches the scalp.
Braid or loosely tie your hair and leave in for a minimum of 2 hours. Science shows that after 4–6 hours the oil is fully absorbed, leaving it in longer provides no additional benefit. Rinse out completely with your regular shampoo. If your hair still feels heavy, simply shampoo twice.
Use 1–2x per week consistently for best results.
How often should I use Lumina Oil?
2–3 times a week. Apply it to your scalp 2–6 hours before washing, massage it in, let it soak, then rinse out with your normal shampoo. More than 3 times a week isn't more effective — consistency over the weeks is what drives results.
Can I apply Lumina Oil on my hair lengths as well?
Yes. After applying to your scalp, take 1–2 drops and lightly work through your ends. This seals the hair fiber and protects your lengths from breakage so the hair your scalp produces actually stays.
